2010

Observation of severe buckling in a mine shaft in a highly anisotropic and highly stressed conditions

2015

Abou Vakili and Benyamin Abedian found Cavroc

2016

IUCM was formally released as Cavroc’s first product resulting from 8 years of R&D. Full details and explanation about the model was published in the Journal of Computers and Geotechnics.

2019

Observation of severe buckling in a mine shaft in a highly anisotropic and highly stressed conditions

2020

Mining One became a major shareholder of Cavroc, bringing substantial support and client base to the business.

SlopeX was formally released as a plug-in to FLAC3D solver for open pit geomechanics design.

2021

StopeX Version 2 released. Julian Watson and Tom Styles joined the Cavroc team as owners and Cavroc agents for Europe, Africa and Americas.

A strategic decision was made to diversify the support numerical solvers for Cavroc products.  Simon Jackson joined Cavroc team as owner and technical developer.

2023

IUCM was successfully ported to Abaqus software, paving the way for full release of the Abaqus solution.

Stephan Arndt and James Davison joined the Cavroc team as Lead Technology Officer and Software Developers
